Outside of school and work, I enjoy

• Hiking and mountaineering -- Just being in the mountains or woods usually makes me happy.
• Whitewater kayaking rafting -- I try to head up to the rivers in New Hampshire and New York whenever the water comes up.
• Backcountry Skiing -- I no longer ski as much as I did when I was on the Clarkson team, but I still try to get up to mountains in New Hampshire or Vermont to do some AT skiing.
• Running -- I'm not much for speed but I did finish the LeanHorse 100 ultramarathon in August 2010 -- 2nd in my age group.... (out of 2).
• Woodworking -- in all my copious free-time I enjoy building furniture:
